AUTHOR'S GUIDELINES


General Instructions

Manuscripts submitted for initial consideration must adhere to the following guidelines:
  1. The submission of the manuscript (written in the English language) in soft copy needs to send through email to the corresponding Editor-in-Chief/Editor, [email protected] . The submission of the paper will be deemed to imply that it represents the results of original research and has not published previously, that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere; and that if accepted for the journal it will not be published elsewhere.
  2. A cover letter must accompany every manuscript submission. The cover letter should include:
  3. a. a brief paragraph pointing out the significance of the reported work. b. author(s) name, affiliation, and contact details
  4. The actual paper should commence from the second page containing the title followed by the Abstract, Keywords, and the main paper. The author's name should not be mentioned anywhere except on the first page (cover page).
  5. The abstract should be clear and provide an appropriate summary of each article's content. It should briefly describe the objectives, explain how the study was done, and summarize the key results. The Abstract should be written in past tense and should not be more than 250 words. Avoid the use of abbreviations and references in the abstract.
  6. Correction of the proofs is the responsibility of the Corresponding Author. The Corresponding Author of an accepted manuscript will receive an e-mail notification and complete instructions when page proofs are available for review.
  7. All articles published by ‘JMI Journal of Management’ are accessible online immediately upon publication.
  8. 'JMI Journal of Management' will be the copyright holder of all the articles and will have the right to use, reproduce or disseminate the articles.
  9. Authors must submit an electronic Copyright Form upon submitting their final manuscript files (Camera-ready paper). The corresponding author is responsible for obtaining the agreement of all co-authors and any consent required from employers or sponsors before submitting an article.
  10. Authors themselves are responsible for obtaining any necessary approvals and/or security clearances.

Manuscript Preparation

  1. An abstract of 200-300 words with five keywords. The recommended length of the research article should be between 6000-9000 words.
  2. All manuscripts should be submitted in Word format, with 1.5 line spacing, 12-point font, font type Times New Roman and 1-inch margins on all sides.
  3. The abstract should be clear and should briefly describe the objectives, explain how the study was done, and summarize the key results as well. The Abstract should be written in past tense and should not be more than 250 words. Avoid the use of abbreviations and references in the abstract.
  4. All tables and figures should be sequentially numbered with numerals. (e.g., Table 1, Table 2) and should be referred to clearly in the text.
  5. Tables, figures, and graphs should be in high quality, well-readable format.
  6. The manuscript must specify the Methodology used in the paper.
  7. References and citations should be complete in all respects to enable readers to look up the source materials.
  8. All the references should be referred to in the text and arranged in alphabetical order. The references must follow the style guide of the American Psychological Association (APA) (7th edition) and should be included at the end of the paper.
  9. Authors are requested to include only a list of cited work, i.e., References, and not a Bibliography.
