Dr. Shahzad Alam is Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering, Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University), New Delhi. He received Ph.D from the Department of Computer Engineering, Jamia Millia Islamia. He received M. Tech degree from the Department of Computer Engineering, Z.H. College of Engineering & Technology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India in 2010 and B. Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh in 2007. He also worked as a Software Developer in the ODO Software Solution Pvt. Ltd., Noida in the year 2007. He qualified GATE-2007, GATE-2015, GATE-2016 and UGC NET-2015 in Computer Sc. & Engg discipline. He has more than 10 years of teaching and research experience. He has published many research articles and presented his work in various international conferences and journals.
His area of research interest is Image processing, information Security, Cryptography and Soft Computing Techniques.
The subjects taught by him include: Data Structure, Operating System, Analysis and Design of Algorithm, Data Base Management System, Computer Organization, Computer Architecture, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Network, Fundamental of Computer, Programming in C and Mobile Computing.
