Dr. Mukesh Kumar Hasija is currently a distinguished Professor in the Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He earned his B.D.S. degree in 2008 from Kurukshetra University and subsequently achieved a Master’s in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics from the renowned King George’s Medical University, Lucknow, in 2012. He achieved the 19th rank in the All India PG MDS Entrance Examination conducted in January 2009.

With a rich academic background, Dr. Hasija served as a Senior Resident at both King George’s Medical University in Lucknow and Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences in New Delhi. Notably, he held the position of Assistant Editor for the Endodontology Journal, an official publication of the Indian Endodontics Society.

Dr. Hasija is a sought-after speaker and has been invited to share his expertise at various national platforms. He has actively organized numerous workshops, national and international conferences, assuming roles such as convener and assistant organizing secretary. His scholarly contributions include the presentation of over thirty scientific papers/posters at national and international conferences, along with the publication of more than twenty scientific papers in esteemed National/International journals.

A dedicated academic, Dr. Hasija has participated in over seventy conferences, seminars, workshops, CMEs, CDEs, symposiums, and Faculty Development Programmes. His areas of specialization encompass rotary endodontics, dental traumatology, regenerative dentistry and esthetic dentistry.

Dr. Hasija currently holds the position of Teacher Representative Member in the Academic Council of Jamia Millia Islamia, serving from 2019 to 2022. Additionally, he has contributed significantly as a teacher member of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at JMI and currently serves as a member of the working committee of IQAC, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. Furthermore, Dr. Hasija plays a pivotal role as the Teacher Placement Coordinator (TPC), representing the Faculty of Dentistry in the University Placement Cell at JMI.
