Author’S Instructions

Author’s Instructions for Initial Manuscript Submission

  • The submitted paper must be 4-6 pages long and formatted according to the conference proceedings template. Access the template here: Author’s Instructions.
  • Manuscript submission and revision will follow a blind review process. Author details, including affiliations and emails, should be left blank under the manuscript title.
  • Manuscripts must be submitted in PDF format only (with a file size limit of 10 MB) via the Microsoft Conference Management Toolkit (CMT), which is available on the conference website. Link: Microsoft CMT
  • Authors must choose one of the five tracks for paper submission. However, the Technical Program Chairs reserve the right to reassign papers to different tracks based on the content of the submission.
  • Please ensure the correct version of the manuscript is submitted, as improper submissions may delay the review process.
  • The conference follows a flexible deadline policy to encourage maximum participation. Manuscript decisions will be sent to authors in phases. Authors who receive a final acceptance or minor revision decision can register early.
  • At least one author of each accepted paper must register under the 'Authors' category to present their work at the conference.
  • Authors with more than one accepted paper are eligible for a 50% discount on registration fees for each additional paper.
  • Only papers that are registered and presented at the conference will be included in the conference proceedings.
  • Registration fees are non-refundable.

Author’s Instructions for Revised and Camera-Ready Paper Submission

  • Authors can view the review comments in Microsoft CMT. Carefully review the feedback and prepare a separate, detailed 'Response to the Reviewer's Comments.' Be as specific as possible when addressing each comment.
  • Highlight the changes made in the revised manuscript based on the review comments using a different color (preferably red) for easy identification. Ensure that the revisions strictly follow the template for conference publications, which can be downloaded from this link: Springer Conference Proceedings Template.
  • Thoroughly proofread your manuscript for any typographical or grammatical errors and correct them.
  • The overall similarity limit is set at 20% (excluding references/bibliography). Manuscripts exceeding this threshold may be rejected, even if all review comments have been addressed.
  • Ensure that the names and affiliations of all authors are listed in the correct order following the template for the Camera-Ready submission. The template can be accessed here: Springer Conference Proceedings Template.
  • Once the revised manuscript and the Response to Reviewer's Comments are ready, convert them to PDF and combine them into a single document (with the revised manuscript first, followed by the Response to Reviewer's Comments). Name the file as "xxx_Revised_ETMN24" (replace 'xxx' with your submission ID). For example, if your submission ID is 25, the file name will be "025_Revised_ETMN24".
  • • Upload this single PDF to the "Edit Submission" section and also upload a clean version of the manuscript (without highlights) to the "Create camera ready submission" section, naming the file "xxx_Camera Ready_ETMN2024" in the Microsoft CMT portal.
  • Please submit the revised manuscript within 7 days.
  • Experts will review the revisions to ensure that the review comments have been adequately addressed in both the Response to Reviewer's Comments and the revised manuscript.

No further changes to the manuscript will be allowed after the due date.
