March 23, 2010: Mr. MJ Akbar, editor, The Sunday Guardian and eminent author, will deliver the First Saifuddin Kitchlew Annual Lecture at Ho Chi Minh Conference hall, ATWS, 5 pm, on 'Indian Muslims: Crisis, Confrontation and Challenges'. Mr. Najeeb Jung, IAS, Vice-Chancellor, JMI, will give opening remarks.

25th March 2010: A one-day Seminar on The Role of Assam Muslims in the Independence Movement at Ho Chi Minh Conference Hall, ATWS, JMI, 10 am. Mr. Najeeb Jung, IAS, Vice-Chancellor, JMI, will deliver the Opening Address. Valedictory by Prof. Ranabir Samaddar, Maniraban Calcutta Research Group, Kolkata. Scholars and speakers from Assam will present papers.
