Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Purchase and Store Section are

  • Preparing and floating of e-tenders for various CAMS, auction and
  • To place purchase orders and processing of bills of suppliers
  • To prepare Agenda and Minutes and organize the meetings of Maintenance Committee, Central Purchase Committee, Sub-Purchase Committee and other Committees
  • Repair and maintenance work of Water coolers, air-conditioners, Photocopiers and lab equipments as well as equipment of Dr. M.A. Ansari Health Centre, EPABX, geysers, RO Systems, refrigerator, deep freezers, TVs etc. ···
  • Auction of old vehicles
  • To collect and keep the. record of all condemn furniture and equipment
  • Repair of old furniture. canning and re-issue of the same
  • Repair of UPS, RO Systems and Plants
  • Preparing Tender documents & floating of e-tenders
  • Preparation of GST concession Certificate
  • Physical verification of items and other related work
  • To maintain Stock Register
  • To maintain the record of No Loss Certificate and other related work
  • EMD receiving and depositing and other related work
  • Calling quotations
  • Bidding GeM, Making purchase orders on GeM,
  • GST concession certificates
  • Processing papers received under University Development Fund (UDF)/ Departmental Development Fund (DDF) I Professional Development Fund (PDF)
  • Processing. of proposals received in respect of non-recurring items from various Deptts/Centres of the University
  • Any other work assigned from time to time
