Responsibilities
Establishment Section (Teaching)
The responsibilities of the Establishment Section (Teaching) are as follows:
- To issue confirmation of services of the Teaching faculties.
- Joining Report of all teaching faculties including, Guest, contractual and visiting faculties.
- Appointment of Deans, Heads, and Directors of the Centres,
- Appointment of Dean's Student Welfare, Chief Proctor, Professor-in-charges Provost, Wardens.
- To issue Orders for officiating arrangements of Deans/Heads/Directors/other functionaries.
- Borrowing/lending of services of teachers on deputation.
- The cases of advance increments for Ph. D/M. Phil.
- The cases of notional Increments for deputation/EOL periods in respect of Teachers.
- All kinds of leave sanction ie. Child Care Leave, Maternity Leave, Paternity Leave, Earned Leave, Commuted Leave, Duty Leave, Special Casual Leave, Sabbatical Leave, Study Leave and Extra Ordinary Leave etc. for Teaching employees
- Rejoining of teachers after availing long leaves.
- Issuing of all kinds of NOCs/Forwarding of applications for other employment.
- Work related to engagement of teachers/staff under Self finance courses.
- Transfer/posting of Teaching Faculties
- Issuing of ID cards for Teaching Faculties including Guest faculty, contractual etc.
- To issue experience certificate for permanent faculties. Guest faculties and Assistant Professor contractual.
- Change of Home town address of teachers.
- Pay protection of teachers
- Stepping-up of pay of teachers
- Suspension and revocation of suspension of teachers
- Subsistence allowance to teachers
- Regularization of suspension period of teachers
- Resignation of Guest Faculties/Assistant Professor Contractual
- RTI matters.
- Legal Para-wise Comments related to this section.
- Cases under CPGRAMS portal (Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System) related to this section.
- Any other work assigned by the Competent Authority from time to time.
